F. James Hutchinson joined Dreman Value Management LLC. in 2000 and today serves as President and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Hutchinson is responsible for spearheading both the development and expansion of the Firm's overall Sales and Marketing efforts. Mr. Hutchinson is also in charge of the growth and development of new and existing client relationships, new product developments, and the development of the Firm's distribution network. In addition, he is the co-Portfolio Manager for the DWS Dreman High Return Equity Fund, DWS Dreman Mid Cap Value Fund, and the DWS Dreman Small Cap Value Fund.
Prior to joining the Firm, he had over 30 years experience in the Finance and Trust/Investment Management business with The Bank of New York. Over his tenure with The Bank of New York he held several senior corporate banking assignments, and in 1987 he was elected president of The Bank of New York (Delaware) and The Bank of New York (New Jersey) in 1995. Today, Mr. Hutchinson serves as a member of the Firm's Investment Policy Committee.
Mr. Hutchinson graduated from Moravian College in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and has done graduate work at Pace University in New York.
